WESTBLOM STARS IN NET AGAIN, BRAHMAS WIN
FORT WORTH DEFEATS ARIZONA 3-0

FORT WORTH, Texas (November 30) - The Brahmas (8-7-2) defeated the Arizona Sundogs 3-0 Friday night at the Fort Worth Convention Center behind a stellar performance in net by Kristofer Westblom.

The Brahmas jumped out a 1-0 lead at the 12:40 mark of the first period when Brendon Hodge put back a rebound past Arizona netminder Adam Russo and into the back of the net.

After a scoreless middle frame, Fort Worth extended its lead to 3-0 with two quick powerplay goals in the third period. Phil Fox scored his eighth goal of the season at 6:29 and Hodge added his second of the game at 9:12.

For Hodge, his two goals give him seven on the season, the second highest total on the team.

Westblom (3-1-0) was impressive in net again Friday night, recording a shutout for the second consecutive game. The Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan native stopped all 24 shots that came his way and is the only goalie in the Central Hockey League with two shutouts this season.

Russo made 23 saves on 26 shots between the posts for the Sundogs in a losing effort.

Fort Worth hosts the Tulsa Oilers at the Fort Worth Convention Center tomorrow, Saturday, December 1 at 7:30pm.

In an effort to reward fans for their patience this off-season, the Brahmas have reduced individual ticket prices, as well as lowering the price of full-season, half-season and 11-game ticket packages for the 2012-2013 season.
